Young woman portrait - oil
I wanted to build up some experience with tying portraits.
Firstly painting her in shades of blue/green to get the tones correct and then adding the flesh tones using several glazes of oil.

Shipton-on-Cherwell Oil
Painted for a local competition on canal art.
If it's one of the winners it will be exhibited during Oxford art weeks.

Update -
Happy to say that I won third prize in the competition. My painting was displayed in two Oxford art centres.
I won a wonderful book on drawing by Giovanni Civardi. Very nice book indeed!

Snowy river

Autumn Woodland
I wanted to paint another woodland picture. I enjoyed painting the small wintery one and moonlight one so much.
I hope to try this in oils at some point too.
