Bodie ghost town - oil
I saw some wonderful photos that someone from work had taken of Bodie ghost town and luckily he gave me permission to use them as reference to do some paintings.
I love the strong sunlight and the colours of these images and hope I managed to capture the feel of the place in the painting.

Chilli peppers - watercolour
Finished this off at last. I started this a while ago but kept getting distracted by painting in oils. Managed to buckle down and finish this one over the weekend.
Two small seascapes - oil
More seascapes to experiment on. Quite enjoyed painting round pictures rather than the normal format. It's difficult finding round frames though!

It's about time I had a go at some water and boats in my painting.
Lots of fun but need to keep it up!
Young woman portrait - oil
I wanted to build up some experience with tying portraits.
Firstly painting her in shades of blue/green to get the tones correct and then adding the flesh tones using several glazes of oil.
